National Night Out

This year at National Night Out, we had the exciting opportunity to table in the Creekside neighborhood. It was a really fun evening! Our booth quickly became a popular stop of the night as families, students, and neighbors engaged in our hands-on activities.

We brought along Stewy, our loyal skeleton model, who was a huge hit with both kids and adults. Guests had the chance to get up close and personal with real dissected sheep hearts and kidneys, sparking curiosity and lots of great questions about how the body works. We also set up a suture practice pads where community members tried their hand at suturing techniques!

What made the night even more special was seeing our students share their passion for healthcare with the community. They explained anatomy concepts, guided suture practice, and helped inspire many curious minds.

We loved connecting with so many people who were just as excited about learning as we are. Thank you to everyone who stopped by our “Anatomy Booth”, we had so much fun and can’t wait for the next event!
