Student-Led Health Education Fair 2026

The Student-Run Health Education Fair is a one-of-a-kind, family-friendly event where high school and college students take the lead in teaching and inspiring the community about health and wellness.

Enjoy engaging talks from student speakers on topics like nutrition, exercise, mental health, and diabetes prevention. Then, dive into hands-on educational booths where the whole family can:

  • Practice suturing on models

  • Learn emergency basics like CPR and choking response

  • Try out vitals checks and reflex tests

  • Explore how to read common blood labs

  • Discover fun ways to stay active and eat well

Student Presentations

  • College and high school students will be presenting on various health education topics.

  • Length: 5–10 minutes each.

  • Example of topics: Benefits of sleep, exercise and mental health, diabetes prevention, nutrition myths, stress management, hydration, digital health tools, etc.).

Examples:

  • Suturing station (using bananas, foam pads, or chicken).

  • Emergency basics (CPR demo, venipuncture).

  • Vitals check (blood pressure, pulse ox, reflex hammer station).

  • Neurology fun (reflexes, sensory tests).

  • Lab literacy (simple explanation of CBC, blood sugar, cholesterol).

  • Stress & wellness (breathing exercises, stretching).
